Establishment |
| The Suburban
Building Officials Conference was organized in 1946 as a result of
increasing development in suburban areas, and the lack of codes to
regulate design and construction. |

Purpose |
| To promote and
enhance the proper administration and enforcement of building and
related codes, to encourage professionalism in the conduct of all
members in their related and respective fields, to establish a cooperative
effort in the solution of common problems and advance professional
growth through proper education and training. |
